Intro

Greetings!

I am creating this blog as a journal of my experiences as I develop my hobby of smoking cigars. Yes, I consider this a hobby, not a habit or addiction. Some aspects may be addicting, buying and collecting rare or unusual cigars for example. The enjoyment of a cigar, for me, is relaxing. I try not to light a cigar unless I'm sure I'll have the proper amount of time to devote to it and to be able to enjoy it completely. Some cigars are bought with a single special event in mind at which to enjoy it. Others are bought simply to be smoked while working in the yard or other times when I don't want to light up a premium cigar. Then there are the accessories that go with the hobby of cigar smoking. And the forums, online friends that also enjoy the hobby. And the trades, box passes, PIF's, birthday clubs, and more.

Anyway, there are lots of things to write about and since I started this hobby almost a year ago, I'll be backtracking some to get back to the beginning ... bear with me.
